Our History
Joshua Primary School was founded in 1993 and has since been dedicated to providing accessible, quality education. From humble beginnings under a mango tree, the school has grown into a full-fledged institution with a registered Nursery and Primary education system. We are known for our strong academic performance in Mbale District, often ranking among the best schools in the region.

Over 150 children enrolled in the Nursery section
In 2022, 88 students sat for the Primary Leaving Examinations.
48 students passed with division one, 38 with division two, and 2 with division three.

Academic Achievements
Joshua Primary School consistently achieves top results in district-wide exams, with a history of high performance in the Primary Leaving Examinations. In 2022, we had 88 candidates, with the majority achieving excellent results, including division one and two rankings.
Extracurricular Success
Our students regularly participate in local and regional competitions in sports, music, and drama. Many of our students have won awards, making us proud of their talents and accomplishments.
Community Impact
Joshua Primary School has a long history of serving the local community, with initiatives that support education for children in need. Our partnership with Covenant College has helped sustain the cost of teaching for many years.
